Why Excavation Pomex?
The name of our company comes from a touching, personal story told by Michel Prud'homme, our Shovel Operator and Founder. Michel had always had red cheekbones, and this physical trait earned him his nickname “POM”.
When he decided to found his own excavation company in 2014, Michel wanted the name of the business to reflect something personal and meaningful to him. He therefore chose to name his company “Excavation Pomex” in reference to his nickname.
We are proud of our name and its touching story. We believe it reflects our commitment to quality, perseverance, and our attachment to our roots. Our name serves as a reminder of the importance of personal history and passion in everything we do.
